Chamber News – March 2022

 Welcome  –

“WE WILL WE WILL ROCKFORD”

February minutes posted online.

Some updates before we get started – raffle tickets are ready.    Amy Noll reports that we have 28 vendors and waiting on several more to decide.  Car show – no monster truck but has 65 confirmed cars.  Several concerns regarding spacing and gravel.  Will contact Larry to share concerns and thoughts.  The Fix will be doing something – chair massages for example in front of their building.  The Chamber will have a booth also – near The Fix so that people have a place to contact a board member with questions or concerns.   — maybe finish selling raffle tickets and perhaps popcorn giveaway.     The ice cream truck – needs additional AMPs – will contact Amy Joseph to see if the park has a converter box we can use.

Financial report (Amanda)

February slow financially.   Request from Lions Club to make donation to their event.   Motion Lisa.

Second Shelley to approve $100.   All agree.

In the future – we need to look at financials going electronically.  Amanda will look at several options and pricing and report back.   We also need to find out our tax status – Amanda and Lisa.
