Welcome: Kylie Houser – Peoples Bank, Ron Searight and Shane Young – Rockford Village Council.
Speaker Jordan Martin — Stolly Insurance /Anthem Insurance – very good presentation. Will be adding the slides to the website.
Financial Report – Amanda Peel – Rocktoberfest very good. Will be reimbursing Shae for her expenses for the haunted house. Would like to see a committee for the haunted house. Maybe charge a small fee to go through it? Some of the items can be re-used next year so there it’s not as costly. Will send membership invoices to email addresses as a reminder to get them paid.
Old Business:
Chamber directory – Brand It Marketing – hopefully have something by next meeting to share.
Citizen of the Year – Shelley Muhlenkamp — Congratulations ! !!!!
Well done fellow board member ! (The last 3 Citizens of the Year chooses the new citizen of the year – for reference as how it’s been working)
Business of the Year – still in progress / would like to get this wrapped up by the end of the year !
Lacey – Rocktoberfest — everything went very good / weather was perfect. Compliments on shutting down Main Street for parking – was a good decision. Next year maybe some seating in the music tent.
A BIG thanks to Amy Noll for leading everything –Vendor Market – was an excellent turn out. 42 vendors and 10 or so non profit booths.
New Business:
Small Business Saturday – will repeat last years ad with updated information.
Membership 2024 – website updated / emails sent and some potentials mailed – as noted above Amanda will be sending out reminders with online payment option.
2024 Officers / 2024 planning to be discussed at the December meeting.
New Business / Anniversaries recognitions – plaques finished – will work on getting delivered – a quick congratulations and a photo.
