Financial Report:    Rocktoberfest  – start up funds,  Will present BIG Check to Together at Christmas at the next meeting – November 6^th.

Rocktoberfest– last minute plans underway –   Blair to put out cones on the street corners.  Vendor Market/events set up to begin around 10 am.     Need final cost for tent.    Tent location behind the brewery with “kid zone” signs pointing the way along Main St.  

Holiday Bazaar and Christmas at the Park –     35 vendors in the Community Building along with Hot cocoa and cookie bar.  

Timing –  Noon to 4 pm Holiday Bazaar – Community Building

4:30 – 7:30 –   continue with Hot cocoa and cookie bar / Christmas crafts – sponsored by the Rockford Library

                 5 pm –  Light parade bringing Santa to the park for visits / photos ?? / park lighting

Golf cart / floats / vehicles — Light parade registrations – Ashley, Parade route paperwork – Ashley, Cash prizes for Classic Christmas, Festive, ‘Ugly Sweater” categories.       Judges – Lacey, Dave, Pastor Bill.

Amy Noll will check on carriage rides – bring Santa to the park or ask Fire Department.

Will apply for Thrivent Community Action project for promotions.   Dave will handle ordering the street signs and banner “Christmas at the Park”.      Need to start promotions next week.

Park decorating volunteers and location –   Ashley/ Deb – Santa House, bridge & gazebo, Second Crossing – Log cabin area, Dave / Pastor Bill – Volleyball court area, Kylie and Johnsons – the little houses, and National Honor Society volunteers splash pad and help others as needed.

Motion Lacey.  Second Lisa to approve WCSM advertising for November / December at $300.

Will be meeting again —- November 6^th and November 20^th different from our regular schedule of 2^nd Thursday so that we can finalize plans for upcoming event.
