Financial Report: Rocktoberfest sponsorships — have been coming in but not as well as last year.
Mercer Health donated funds plus 200 slingbags that will be used during the event ! Thank you !
We finally received our tax exempt status ! Thank you Kylie !
Old Business updates:
Rocktoberfest– October 25th from noon – 4 pm – Main Street – Trick or Treat 5 – 6:30 pm.
Costume judging at 7 pm
T-Shirt fundraiser — approved and ready to go !
Car show Dash Plates — ordered – Lisa will pick up next week.
Shelley will get the tent ordered.
DJ – Ben Shepherd has agreed ! Wabash will sponsor instead of providing the game.
Face Painters – Parkway Education association
No Parking on Main Street – Lisa working on the wooden sticks.
Tractor rides — pick up drop off along Main Street.
Mercer Landmark parking lot —Yes — we have permission to use.
Map out event placements — for next meeting on September 25th — at 8:30 am – Village Office to finalize the rest of the event.
Do we have enough volunteers for events ?
Carissa and several from Rockford RoadDog could volunteer– need to get back to her with details.
Looking to 2026 —- Consider having Springfling along with the Fire Department Pancake day ??
Would be around April 11th. Committee in agreement !
