Welcome — Guest Pastor Rowe – Olive Branch Church of God –Introductions

Financial Report: — Kylie – Several cards of thanks, LAMP donation ready for pick up, have several sponsorships for Rocktoberfest – will send an updated list. Pastor Bill asked Chamber to consider donating to Together at Christmas.
Old Business: – Rocktoberfest – Shelley will reserve the tent through Minster Tent.
Events – Vendor Market, Car Show, face painters, balloon artist, Mime, bingo, Spin the Wheel, Junk Food Stand, Fremont – Rockford Catsup sales, Cotton Candy sales, mini pumpkin scavenger hunt that can be turned in for tickets for games, hay wagon rides. Several food trucks. There will be a Rocktoberfest 5K – Zombie Run at begins at 10:30. Columbia Street – Food truck alley. Need permission from council to close Market St and Columbia St East. Need to set up Chamber table – with membership forms and attendance prizes. Will work on getting banners and signage out.
Rockford Eagles – celebrating 120 year. Mayor Searight, Lacey and David will present a proclamation and plaque at 5 pm on Saturday – September 12th.
New Business:
Next Social networking event — October 6th at Rockford Eagles – Need to mail invitations and posted on Facebook. Collect some door prizes – Fill out Rockford trivia to be eligible to win. Will be asking Rockford Business Park representative to attend from 5:15 – 5:30 to share information.
