Village Administrator’s Report – Aaron Temple –
Thank you to Blair and Joe for keeping streets open during the recent snow storm. They did a good job – working long days in order to stay on top of the situation.
Beougher – thanks for cleaning up the slush too – once snow started to melt. Keeps the streets much nicer for travels.
Searight – you had a good plan for snow removal – good feedback. Thank you.
Blair and Joe have enrolled in continue education classes. Blair will be working on the water license and Joe will be working on the sewer license.
Several street lights still out — we are waiting for the bucket truck to get some repairs so we can fix the lights.
Sewer plant – will be installing the diffuser parts – hopefully this week yet with warmer temps. This is the next phase of controlling odors.
Water plant per EPA – we need the media tested and inspected at a cost of $6,500 and we also need to have the South water tower inspected at a cost of $5,000. We will be working with the company to have scheduled inspections every couple of years.
Water tower project — still waiting on information when funds will be released, when we can go out to bid etc. Will be having a meeting with engineering in the next week or so regarding finances. Committee welcome to attend.
