RESOLUTION 07-15
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE AMOUNTS AND RATES AS DETERMINED BY THE BUDGET COMMISSION AND AUTHORIZING THE NECESSARY TAX LEVIES AND CERTIFIYING THEM TO THE COUNTY AUDITOR.

RESOLUTION 08-15
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE LOCAL GOVERNMENT FUND AMOUNT AND RATE AS DETERMINED BY THE MERCER COUNTY BUDGET COMMISSION, AND DECLARING IT AN EMERGENCY.
Rockford Local Government = $27,866.00 or $6.63%

House Bill 5 will be affecting how municipal income tax will be administered and collected beginning 01/01/16. We need to know the changes that are being mandated or we can lose our ability to levy an income tax. Jeff and Lisa will be attending a seminar on September 22 to learn about the upcoming changes. The seminar will be held in Lima and is a free service.

Old Business
New Development questions being asked. Where are we and are we moving forward. Yes – we are moving at a slow pace. It’s a process that will take time for each step. The Economic Development committee will be meeting again this fall to continue discussions, review costs, and begin making some decisions on the next step.
