Rockford Chamber Meeting Notes – March 13, 2025

Officers and Trustees present:  Kylie Houser, Pastor Bill, Marilyn Long, Shelly Muhlenkamp Amy Wendel, Lacey Rizor, Ashley Stetler

Items Discussed:

DORA signage – Lacey and Luke are working on these

2024 Business of the Year – Ashley is working to coordinate this yet.

2025 Citizen and Business of the year – forms look ok to everyone

2025 Christmas in the Park

            Ashley is suggesting that a grid/sections are made on a map for people / business can decorate their “space” they can do a theme or even use some of the decorations that the chamber now has available. Can discuss details later.

• Also talked about a live nativity or something of the sorts, Pastor Bill said he was going to talk to his church about this
• Also talked about a light parade with golf carts possibly.

Hole Shot is looking to have a Grand opening end of March sometime, Ryan will let Lacey or someone know when.

Trying to work on speakers yet.

Do we know when the Parkway Scholarship interviews are ?

Peoples bank is sponsoring a “bring a donation” day for the food pantry to the Shipyard in Celina this weekend. If you bring something, you can use their facilities at no cost.

We have plaques for places that we will have to coordinate times to deliver them.

Kylie’s Treasurer Report

1. Received letter from Imagination Library thanking for donation.
2. Have $23,238.07 in bank
3. Lion’s Club is asking for donation for Quarter Auction
   1. This will take place April 5^th at Community Building
      1. Doors open at 1, auction to start at 1

Last year donated $200, Kylie motioned to do the same this year, Ashley seconded

• Be a Part of Shane’s Park Picnic table sponsor needed campaign going on, asking for $150 and the table will have your name with a plaque on it.
