Welcome –

  • Financial Report – Amanda Peel – unable to attend.   Comments to share  —next year vendors would like to receive an invoice to pay online.   Should work as long as we have their email.

Chamber directory –  Working with Brand It Marketing

WCSM – Commercials — Ashley Stetler  – Thanks for handling this !

Leadership Class– Shelley Muhlenkamp – first class was communications.  Really enjoying it.

  • Lacey –   Fall Festival updates – reviewed the events – have several to add.  The vendors keep signing up… 41 at last count.   We need all vendors to share, share, share !   Need to update the parking signage.  Mercer Health will supply a banner.  Have received several others. 

Drama Club working on the Haunted Car Wash.  Ashley getting prizes.  We have 6 games for the children.   Games and tractor rides free because of sponsorships.   Music from 1 – 7 pm.  Tent up 10 am to 7 pm.  **Bring Lawn chairs / Second Crossing might move some tables over to the tent area.   

  • Fall Festival  Marketing  –   

Will work on ads with Photo Star, Daily Standard, and Times Bulletin – get proof to committee for approval. 

•          New Business – next meeting / next year

            Anthem Presentation – November 9th meeting – open to the public

            Update Anthem ad – with Breakfast / speaker.  Need RSVP to Village Office by  Nov. 3rd.

            Check to see if Carry Out can cater.    Publish ads in Photo Star, Daily Standard, and Times Bulletin.

Small Business Saturday – discuss at next meeting general ad to come to ‘celebrate’ the event by shopping in Rockford.  

Membership 2024 – new deadline December 15th – will revamp the membership information similar to Ft. Recovery.   Amy W will send a sample –  one is for renewal and one is for new membership.
