Finance Committee – Steve Gehle
Motion Fox to pay bills as submitted – $ 16,254.48 Second Pontsler. Now called for the question. Fox = y, Pontsler = y, Now = y, Gehle = y, Heitkamp = y. Passed 5 yes.

Finance Meeting scheduled for 06/11/19 – 7 pm – Budget items for 2020
Public Budget hearing – 06/18/19 – 7:15 pm
Service Committee: Greg Pontsler
New furniture at Shanes Park – looks nice. Includes a picnic table, a bench and a bar table with chairs. Cost – $3,000 paid by the Park Board.
Mayor reported – Jessica Yoder has inquired regarding painting up the bathrooms with sports theme. She would be donating the paint and her time. Council agreed as long as approved by the Park Board.
Bathrooms and bathroom floors have recently been painted and LED lights installed.
Street between Race and Columbia will be fixed yet this week.
Mayor reported – Jennifer Armstrong would like to work on a project for Veterans banners to be completed by Veterans day.
Jeff reported that our new employee, Joe Roth, started this week.
Safety Committee: Chris Heitkamp
Approval of – Agreement for Extra Duty Law Enforcement Services for Transportation of behaviorally impaired citizens:

RESOLUTION 05-19
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE VILLAGE OF ROCKFORD TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS RELATIVE TO THE SALE OF LOTS IN THE SHANES CROSSING SUBDIVISION.

Public Utilities Committee: Wilbur Fox
Track over – nice to see Parkway doing good and several going to District.
Drains – catch basin projects, grate allys and more complaints for grass clippings in the streets.
Rules Committee: Brad Now
Old Business:
At the November General Election there will be a Mayor Seat and (2) Council seats on the ballot. Residents interested in public service would need to contact the Board of Elections and get paperwork filed by the August 7th at 4 pm deadline.
New Business:
Would like Paul and Stet to bring awareness to 4-wheeler drivers / scooters – of noise ordinances, speed limits, and checking drivers licenses — also golf carts do not belong on Main Street in the business district nor do they belong going down 33 towards Dollar General.
