Rockford Mayor’s Court

Mayor’s Court Hours: The second and fourth Wednesday of every month at 6:30 pm at The Village Hall

Clerk Hours: Every Wednesday from 4:30 – 6:30 pm

Any questions call 419-363-3032 and press 5. Please leave a message and the clerk will return your call on Wednesday during normal Mayor’s Court hours (4:30 – 6:30 pm).


Rockford Police Department

The Rockford Police Department has 2 full time officers, and several part-time patrolmen.

Police Chief Paul P. May III has been with Rockford for 30 years. Chief May started in July of 1992. He was promoted to the first ever position of Sergeant with the department in 1997. In 1999 he was promoted to Chief of Police.

Sergeant Bryan Stetler has been with Rockford since 1997 first as an Auxiliary Officer, then Part-time and in 2002 hired as full time.

Patrolman Loren Shindeldecker , a life long resident, has been with the Police Department since September of 1989 and continues to serve Rockford along with Adam Saunders, Ryan On, Kyle Schott
