Mayor’s Court Hours: The second and fourth Wednesday of every month at 6:30 pm at The Village Hall

Clerk Hours: Every Wednesday from 4:30 – 6:30 pm

Any questions call 419-363-3032 and press 5. Please leave a message and the clerk will return your call on Wednesday during normal Mayor’s Court hours (4:30 – 6:30 pm).


Rockford Police Department

Chief Bryan Stetler

The Rockford Police Department has 6 sworn officers.

Chief Bryan Stetler has been with the Rockford Police Dept. since 1997 first as an Auxiliary Officer, Part-time Officer in 1998, full-time Officer in 2002 and was then given the rank of Sergeant in 2004. In 2023, Stetler was promoted as the Police Chief.

Senior Officer Loren Shindeldecker, a lifelong resident, has been with the Police Department since September of 1989 and continues to serve Rockford along with Patrolman William Miller, Adam Saunders, John Gabriel and S.R.O. Officer Paul May.
