Meeting Minutes: June 8 , 2017

Mary Beoughter opened the meeting at 8 am with 5 members present.
THANK YOU to our newest business owner, Amy Lyons of Tasty Blessings, for the complimentary samples this morning. We are working on setting up a date and time for a Ribbon Cutting – July or August.
We welcomed Kim Heitkamp from Community Health Professionals to the meeting. They will be joining the chamber.
May meeting and finances were discussed. The Parkway Music Boosters requested a donation towards The Larry Seibert Memorial Concert featuring the Lima Area Concert Band. This will help with advertising the event scheduled for
August 27th at the Parkway High School Auditorium at 3 pm.
Discussed several ways the Chamber can help promote event.
We will be finalizing the Chamber membership directory and going to print in July.
We discussed upcoming events:
“Soup”er Concert in the Park – October 8th with Triad and the Parkway High School Musical for entertainment. We will be working with some locals business for soup donations. New Horizons will be having a food stand. Need to start working out details at the next meeting. * Need volunteers – set up, clean up, serve soups *
Chamber Banquet – to be held on October 23rd – another event that needs volunteers for set up, clean up and organization.
Mercer County Leadership program application due in August.
Murder/mystery Dinner Theatre – will be held February 10th of next year. Jamie is working on the event with Mrs. Wagnor and other volunteers.
Welcome Sign question – when will it be completed ??
The next Chamber meeting – July 13th at 8 am – Village Hall.
