Village Administrator’s Report – Aaron Temple
During this time of year things slow down with everyone taking vacations.
Street light installation at the subdivision has been started.
Street signs at the subdivision have been installed.
Pickle ball court area at the park – working on concrete and fencing.
Tree trimming is on the schedule.
Residents may trim trees and leave the limbs at the curbs for pick up – Next pick up is August 10th.
Had meeting with OPWC – discussed water tower funding and some additional grants that could possibly help our project.

WRKD – balance $8,163.27. New carpet has been ordered. The business will install and become a new underwriter. Air unit was purchased – $2,000 – the station will provide the labor to install.
Fall Sports underwriting – contact Todd Henkle – we will broadcast 10 football games and playoffs and 10 volleyball games. We broadcast on the air and streaming. We will simulcast with the NTHS network for all home games.
Business packages are multi-tiered and individuals $100 will get name mentioned 4 times per broadcast.
We thank the Parkway area as we have a great history of community spirit for school activities.

Public Utilities Committee: Luke Stephenson –
The Village of Rockford’s current electric aggregation program ends in August with Dynegy as the supplier. The new contract will start in August and the new supplier and rate will be on your September utility bill. The supplier is Energy Harbor and the rate will be $0.0477 until May 2024. This is a lower rate than the current price of $0.0514.

Community Days made approximately $2300 – still waiting on a couple of donations. Thank you for a Great Bicentennial Celebration.
Pickle Ball —- Lessons on Saturday August 7th . Area leagues have been coming to Rockford. Basketball board have been installed.
4 Council seats will be on the November ballot. The deadline for petition at the Board of Elections is August 4th at 4 pm.
