Meeting Minutes: October 11, 2012
The October Chamber meeting was held on Thurs. Oct. 11, 2012. Highlights of the meeting to follow.
Chamber Banquet will be held Nov. 1st. with various politicians invited. Mike Bruns/entertainment and Angie to cater the meal.
The Ribbon cutting ceremony at New Horizons for their Day Care had a nice turn out with many Chamber members present.
Repairs on the Santa House have not started yet. Discusssions continue on where the Santa House will be placed. Have 2 volunteers for Santa this year for Saturday mornings and a few evenings a week.
(8) Welcome bags were delivered this month to Rockford newcomers.
Nov. 14th 9:00am – 3:00pm is the Mercer Co./Auglaize Co. Student Networking and Business Networking.
The Chamber needs nominations for Secretary, Vice President and President.
(16) Parkway Panther banners to be ordered for the downtown pole lights.
November chamber meeting will be as usual. Decembers’ meeting will be held in the evening at New Horizons. Time to be determined at next month’s meeting.
Week of Dec. 10th, WCSM to conduct (20) 30 second commercials to promote area businesses and 2013 chamber renewal.
