Village Administrator’s Report – Jeff Long
Met with the engineering firm regarding the subdivision continuing to work on water and sewer for Phase I of development. We may be getting quotes for some infrastructure for the subdivision along with the Columbia St project.
Columbia Street has been in the planning stages for roughly 3 years. All project take time to complete. Columbia street should be completed 2017. We actually have 18 months to finish project with our funding agreements.
Have been review several locations with unsafe buildings. We are working on 3 locations at this time. Again – this is a long process. The prosecutor’s office was notified they have until December 20th to have sheriff auctions on 2 of these locations. We will have to see what happens before we make more investments in this area.
We have filed the petition to claim the property on Pearl Street. We are waiting to see what is the next step in that process.
Wastewater Treatment Plant project – we are waiting for final approval from the EPA. Hold up is a technical issue about detention times.
