Meeting Minutes: December 10, 2016

The meeting was called to order on December 8th by President Mary Beougher at 8 am, with 5 members present.
A financial report was given. The general fund has a balance of $2252.98. We are beginning to get 2017 membership renewals. We have paid for the Welcome sign insert and need to pay for the discs yet. They will be about $1000 and we have just
over that in the sign fund, so we should be good.
A reminder that the 2017 Memberships are due by the end of February to be included in the Business Directory.
We decided to cancel the January meeting – lack of people showing up and we don’t know what the weather will bring.
Sock Hop – No funds yet.
BIG THANK YOU – to Joyce Emans and volunteers for decorating the park. We had a nice turn out for the Christmas at the Park. Lights will be on each night from 6 – 10 pm. We need some volunteers to help take decorations down in January !
December 11th – Blind Date will hold a Christmas concert at the Rockford Belle with proceeds going to the Parkway Ministerial Association.
December 15th – Colonial Nursing Center will be hosting an open house. There will be children’s activities.
