Meeting Minutes: July 6, 2021 – Budget hearing
2022 Budget Hearing called to order by Lisa Kuhn on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 7 pm at the Rockford Village Hall.
Present: Brad Now, Amy Joseph, Chris Heitkamp, Jessica Yoder, Lisa Kuhn
The budget includes wage increase for full time employees which will increase the retirement and medicare, also includes insurance increase, increase in the street light line item for the increased led lights, increased in the retirement savings and added equipment lines in the water and sewer.
Just today we received information on the America Rescue Plan funds – will be watching a webinar on Friday on the steps to take in order to receive funds.
Rockford allocation will be $57,822.59. In 2022 in July we will receive the 2nd portion of the funds in the same amount.
Budget updates presented and to be approved at council as a preliminary budget.
We will begin reviewing at the end of the 3rd quarter to finalize the 2022 budget
