Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at 7:30 pm at the Rockford Village Hall.

Also attending: Judy Koesters, Srgt Stetler, Tom Stankard of the Daily Standard, and Nancy Leighner.
Motion Gehle. Second Pontsler to accept the agenda as orders of the day with addition of Executive Session at the end of the meeting. Rutledge called for the question. Gehle = y, Pontsler = y, Rutledge = y, Now = y. Passed 4 yes.

Visitors to Address Council:
Nancy Leighner put weed and feed at the splash pad and around the concrete wall on Market St. In return she is asking the Village to repair the mud hole near the
Splash pad and install a faucet that was talked about a year ago.
Mayor’s Report and Correspondence:
License to Solicit application received from Everdry Waterproofing. Will be reviewed by the police department. If they ok then it will be approved.
Community Announcements and events:
The Agape’ Mobile Food Pantry -will be in Rockford the 1st and 3rd Tuesday afternoons in the parking lot beside the Rockford Fire Department – 12:30 –
3 pm.
May 29th – Rockford Memorial Day – parade, speaker, chicken dinners – more info to come.
Rockford Community Days – June 16th and 17th. Look for info on a new event. We need lots of volunteers – please consider and call the Village Office if interested.
Village Administrator’s Report – Jeff Long
Projects are coming along although it probably looks like they are moving slow. It all takes time. Found a problem on Columbia street – some underground storm sewer but wasn’t hooked up to anything and needed filled in with concrete.
Council question – seems to be a big grade change on Columbia Street – plans ? Jeff will be reviewing and get with the contractor on the plan.
Committee Reports
Finance Committee – Steve Gehle
Motion Rutledge to pay bills as submitted in the amount of $ 9148.58 Second Pontsler. Gehle called for the question. Rutledge = y, Pontsler = y, Gehle = y, Now = y. Passed 4 yes.
Motion Pontsler to approve the monthly financial reports –
Cash Summary by Fund, Appropriations report, Revenue Report,
