Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at 7:30 pm at the Rockford Village Hall.

Also attending: Chief May and Tom Stankard of the Daily Standard.
Motion Pontsler Second Heitkamp to accept the agenda as orders of the day. Rutledge called for the question. Pontsler = y, Heitkamp = y, Rutledge = y,

Motion Rutledge. Second Pontsler to accept the minutes from the
October 3, 2017 council meetings as presented. Heitkamp called for the question. Rutledge = y, Pontsler = y, Heitkamp = y, Gehle = y, Now = y. Passed 5 yes.

The Bulldogs – Live Music – Rockford Community Building THIS
Saturday night – October 21st ! Bicentennial fundraiser.
Dance to the 50’s ! Tickets $10 at the door. Doors open at 6 pm
Rockford Chamber Banquet – October 23rd – Community Building
Halloween activities – October 28th – Trick or Treat from 6 – 7:30 pm and
Judging @ the Firehouse at 8 pm.
The Rockford Fire Department will be flushing / testing fire hydrants
on November 5th beginning at 1 pm.

Finance Committee – Steve Gehle
Motion Rutledge to pay bills as submitted in the amount of $112,892.18. Second Pontsler. Heitkamp called for the question. Rutledge = y, Pontsler – y, Heitkamp = y, Gehle = y, Now = y. Passed 5 yes.
Motion: Pontsler to accept the Mayors Court pay in of $1770.00. Second Heitkamp. Rutledge called for the question. Pontsler = y, Heitkamp = y, Rutledge = y, Gehle = y, Now = y. Passed 5 yes.
Motion: Rutledge approved additional purchase orders for subdivision. Second Heitkamp = y, Pontsler = y, Gehle = y, Now = y. Passed 5 yes.
Service Committee: Greg Pontsler
Park board – Joyce Emans has retired from the Park Board and volunteer services at Shanes Park. The Village and the Park Board are working together to get an electronic message center to replace the Community Building sign.
Safety Committee: Chris Heitkamp
There was a Safety Committee meeting on October 17th at 7 pm. Items discussed was building on Market St.
Economic Development Committee: Rob Rutledge
Public Utilities Committee: Wilbur Fox – absent
